Short-Term Rental Design
As an experienced interior designer specializing in short-term rentals, K Sage Creative brings expertise in crafting high-quality, memorable spaces that stand out in competitive rental markets. Previously, having worked as a designer for Airbnb, K Sage Creative gained in-depth insight into optimizing rental properties to attract guests and elevate the rental experience. Our approach combines strategic planning and personalized design, ensuring that each project maximizes both aesthetic appeal and functionality to meet the needs of guests while enhancing profitability for hosts.
As the interior designer for this project, we curated the space to create an inviting and memorable guest experience. From sourcing stylish, durable furniture to developing a cohesive design presentation, I carefully selected elements that enhance the property’s appeal and functionality for short-term renters. We were inspired by the charm of this neighborhood, which is filled with craftsman, California bungalows, custom, and historic homes.
With a strategic approach to budgeting, we balanced cost-efficiency with high-quality decor to maximize the space’s value without sacrificing style. I also managed the installation process to ensure each detail was executed seamlessly and oversaw professional photography to capture the space at its best, optimizing the property’s listing for maximum visibility.
If you're an Airbnb host or short-term rental owner looking to elevate your property and stand out in the competitive rental market, I can help you create a high-level guest experience that leaves a lasting impression and boosts your booking potential.
This Airbnb leaned heavily into the 70’s style of architecture in keeping with the wood-paneled walls and funky details throughout. We helped this host, who had a strong knack for using recycled materials, thrifted finds, and vintage pieces, create a space with a strong, retro personality.
While many short-term rentals are equipped with the basic amenities and furniture, this property is quite the opposite. It’s rich with bold colors, artwork, plants, unique finds, and views that are unmatched.
This property is more of an experience and not just a stay.
What was once a hippie commune called the “Peace Farm”, has now turned into a short-term rental. With incredible views of the mountainous terrain in Topanga Canyon, it’s perfect for travelers that want something a little more rugged, tranquil and off the beaten path.
The design is minimal but touches on little details that are thoughtfully curated and sourced.
